1. Lifetime workmanship commitment
Paint Pros stands behind the quality of our craftsmanship. We provide lifetime workmanship coverage on all qualifying residential painting and drywall projects completed under an executed written agreement.
2. Definition of 'lifetime'
For the purposes of this warranty, 'lifetime' is defined strictly as the period during which the original contracting homeowner continues to own and reside in the property where the work was performed.
3. Scope of coverage
This warranty covers qualifying failures directly resulting from improper surface preparation or application by Paint Pros personnel, including peeling, blistering, or chipping caused by workmanship defects.
4. Non-transferable
This workmanship warranty is issued solely to the original contracting property owner and is non-transferable. Coverage immediately terminates upon any transfer of property ownership or title.
5. Inspection rights
Paint Pros reserves the right to conduct an on-site physical inspection of any reported condition prior to making a coverage determination or scheduling corrective work.
6. Remedy & corrective action
If a reported issue is confirmed to fall within qualifying workmanship coverage, Paint Pros will, at its sole discretion, prepare and recoat the affected area to restore proper finish standards.
7. Exclusions & limitations
This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, intentional abuse, structural shifting, moisture intrusion, plumbing leaks, mildew, underlying substrate failure, rot, settlement cracks, severe weather, or interference from third-party contractors and occupants.
8. Manufacturer material warranties
Material warranties are distinct from Paint Pros workmanship coverage. Premium coatings (including qualifying Sherwin-Williams products) carry their own manufacturer guarantees subject to factory terms. Paint Pros does not alter, expand, or administer manufacturer warranties.
9. Eligibility factors
Warranty eligibility is determined by the specific coating system applied, surface condition at the time of contract, substrate integrity, environmental exposure, and the explicit terms documented in your written project contract.
10. Reporting an issue
Homeowners must notify Paint Pros promptly upon noticing any suspected workmanship defect. Timely reporting prevents minor coating issues from accelerating or damaging underlying building materials.
